I was a Process Engineer working across multiple PPE initiatives to design and refine prototypes and workflows for small-scale production by teams of volunteers.
Spring 2020
The goal is to design and build an powerful and entertaining 250lb combat robot for the Discovery Channel’s BattleBots TV show.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer on a team of five I designed the robot’s structure, armor, and aesthetics. As our team’s Outreach Coordinator I organize local STEM events and raised over $100K in corporate sponsorships in 3 years.

The goal was to design an affordable upgrade to the LIMBS M3 Relief Knee with improved stability and a more natural gait.
As my Senior Capstone on a six-person team, I researched and tested potential concepts and designed our final prototypes.
Fall 2015 - Spring 2016
The goal was to build an empowering costume for Angelle, a seven-year-old girl in a wheelchair obsessed with Disney’s Frozen.
I was the Mechanical Engineer on our six-person team, responsible for translating our concepts into CAD, designing the overall structure, and supporting fabrication and styling.
Fall 2019 - Summer 2020
The goal was to create and run week-long immersive design-thinking workshops for groups of international students in a winter break exchange program.
I was a Robotics Instructor on a four-person teaching team, responsible for building lessons and working hands-on with students to support their projects.

The goal was to change the typical mindset about 3D printing by introducing artifacts mid-print to create dynamic printing experiences.
This was an independent research project under professor Amon Millner while at Olin College.
